Updating college application

Williamsburg Technical College will make every attempt to place advanced students into the appropriate level of instruction.

Are you a high school student wanting dual college and high school credit for university transfer?

These are called Career and Technology Education courses, or CATE for short.

In mutual recognition of the value of training offered at each institution, WTC and the Williamsburg County School District have established a dual enrollment/dual credit program agreement in which high school junior and senior students may earn college credit in several vocational technology programs.

QUICK COURSES: You may have heard of "workforce development or continuing education" courses available through South Carolina's technical colleges.

These courses offer updating, upgrading and supervisory development training, both in-plant and on-campus.

New applications will be completed when appropriate.

Practices and requirements for non-discrimination extend to the enrollment of students in programs and activities of the College and employment by the College.Applications will remain on file one year from the date submitted. Request high school and/or other institutions to forward transcripts of all academic work attempted. Present an SAT score of 977 (verbal - 470; writing - 47; math - 460) or an equivalent ACT score of 19; take the COMPASS assessment; or be currently enrolled in good standing at another institution. Register for classes during registration dates posted on the WTC academic calendar 5.Meet the established admission criteria for each curriculum.To be accepted as a student at Williamsburg Technical College, an applicant must: 1.Complete an application form obtained from Student Affairs or on the website.
